Flax, Blue (Linum perenne)
Blue Flax is a European native flax which is difficult to distinguish from Lewis Flax. It is drought tolerant and grows best in full sun with dry to moderate moisture. The delicate petals fade and fall off during the heat of the day, to be replaced by fresh flowers the next morning. Plants bloom mid-May to June.
