Hydroseed, unfortunately, remains prone to soil erosion damage. The newly sprouted seeds will need a continuous water supply a few weeks after planting, but too much rain may pose a problem. If it rains before the seeds take root, they will be easily dislodged.
Based on the circumstances, this has to be done to avoid such a contingency, monitoring weather forecasts and other related matters and those of a preventative nature such as applying mulch or using erosion control mats.
Proper preparation and care of the site, including hydraulic mulch seeding, can prevent soil erosion and enhance the prospects of the seeds establishing themselves. Seeding methods, such as sowing dry seed and planting seeds, should be carefully considered to promote seed growth and plant high-quality turfgrasses.
